Yad Vashem Support

Years ago, Ingolf Schmidt visited Israel and went to Yad Vashem Memorial (The Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority). This memorial was one of the most shocking events on that trip. Ingolf Schmidt Ministries would like to encourage their partners and friends to join with them to support this museum. There are not many living survivors of the Shoah; therefore, we believe it is extremely important to keep this remembrance alive. We encourage you to visit their website at (www.yadvashem.org).

As the Jewish peoples’ living memorial to the Holocaust, Yad Vashem safeguards the memory of the past and imparts its meaning for future generations. Established in 1953, as the world center for documentation, research, education, and commemoration of the Holocaust, Yad Vashem is today a dynamic and vital place of intergenerational and international engagement.

For over half a century, Yad Vashem has been committed to four pillars of remembrance.
• Commemoration • Documentation • Research • Education
